Dearest Seniors, Pay It Forward

The Loyola Schools and the Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED) invite graduating seniors to pay it forward by volunteering to conduct surveys of schools in Nueva Ecija this March.

ACED has been working to improve public schools through a schools-based management approach. The approach is unique in that it involves the entire school community and introduces participatory strategic planning processes for public schools. The strategy has been proven to work as seen in the vast improvements in scores of participating schools.

ACED now wants to use the strategy to assist public schools in Nueva Ecija and they need assistance in gathering baseline data which will be used as the basis for the strategic planning process. ACED is looking for volunteers who will conduct a 2-day profiling of public high schools in Nueva Ecija.

Continue being men and women for others. Give the gift of improved public school education before you graduate.

One day I was so nervous for a presentation. As I was walking around to release the tension, I came across two of my freshies sitting at the Rizal Walk benches. I sat with them and we just talked and just became plain sabaw about everything (well, ako lang pala yung sabaw). :)

Talaga? Twenty six days nalang? :-S

Kapag natapos ko na ang tatlong nalalabing requirement, at natapos ko na ang clearance ko, at naayos ko na ang Coke Barkada matters, talagang go na ito. Grabe, hindi ko alam kung ano ang mararamdaman ko.

Kahapon naiyak talaga ako sa Pabaon. Alam niyo naman na ultimate keso ako, at tsaka iyakin talaga ako. Pero ayun. Grabe talaga. Tapos si Jen naman eh, nagtext pa ng mamimiss daw niya ako. Shet diba. Parang, oh noes. Ito na talaga yun. Ito na yun.

Iniisip ko kahapon kung bakit talagang nasesenti ako. Nung high school naman, oo nga umiyak ako nung graduation, pero wala, di ko naman naramdaman talaga na mamimiss ko ang school at ang relationships doon. Ewan. Pero ngayon, talagang shet.. Apat na taon lamang naman ako nanatili rito, pero grabeng sakit ang mahiwalay sa Ateneo. Grabe talaga. Ramdam na ramdam ko iyong mensahe ng SOSS eh.
