Oh well. Kaya ayun! Sigaw ako nang sigaw sa Araneta.
One Big Fight!
Oh yes, A Shop. Haha. Oh well.
We met up with Paolo Brazal at Mini Stop to go to Araneta. Yey!
Salamat, Jan, Paolo, at Clars. Sa Linggo, kami naman ni Johndi manonood. :) Yey. Sana makakuha kami ng tickets.
Back to work! :)

efficiently and effectively
Love of neighbour, grounded in the love of God, is first and foremost a responsibility for each individual member .... As a community, the Church must practise love. Love thus needs to be organized if it is to be an ordered service to the community. (Deus Caritas Est, 20)
Highlighting on "Love thus needs to be ORGANIZED if it is to be an ordered service to the community." :)
It reminded me of what Sir Land said during the welcoming ceremony of the Development Marketplace (and well, actually he has been reminding us from the start), that we must "do the good efficiently and effectively".
Hindi pwedeng gawa lang nang gawa. Kailangan gumawa nang maayos.
Yun lang.

Haha, it sounds bitter, but yes, I should not let them make me feel bad. Fine. Social exclusion na kung social exclusion. I try to reach out, but hell, I have my limits, too. I can't go on wasting my time on people who do not seem to care or do not seem to respond. Manhid ba.
ang galing
I'm reading about Pondo ng Pinoy, at wow.
Great job.

Hay. This is just my point of view. I'm not saying that people who tell everyone about their accomplishments are wrong.
Just please, leave me alone.

Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Today the Church celebrates : St. Constantius, St Pio de Petrelcina (Padre Pio).
Book of Amos 8,4-7.
Hear this, you who trample upon the needy and destroy the poor of the land! "When will the new moon be over," you ask, "that we may sell our grain, and the sabbath, that we may display the wheat? We will diminish the ephah, add to the shekel, and fix our scales for cheating! We will buy the lowly man for silver, and the poor man for a pair of sandals; even the refuse of the wheat we will sell!" The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob: Never will I forget a thing they have done!
Psalms 113(112),1-2.4-6.7-8.
Hallelujah! Praise, you servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
Blessed be the name of the LORD both now and forever.
High above all nations is the LORD; above the heavens God's glory.
Who is like the LORD, our God enthroned on high,
looking down on heaven and earth?
The LORD raises the needy from the dust, lifts the poor from the ash heap,
Seats them with princes, the princes of the people,
First Letter to Timothy 2,1-8.
First of all, then, I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgivings be offered for everyone, for kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as ransom for all. This was the testimony at the proper time. For this I was appointed preacher and apostle (I am speaking the truth, I am not lying), teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. It is my wish, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger or argument.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 16,1-13.
Then he also said to his disciples, "A rich man had a steward who was reported to him for squandering his property. He summoned him and said, 'What is this I hear about you? Prepare a full account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be my steward.' The steward said to himself, 'What shall I do, now that my master is taking the position of steward away from me? I am not strong enough to dig and I am ashamed to beg. I know what I shall do so that, when I am removed from the stewardship, they may welcome me into their homes.' He called in his master's debtors one by one. To the first he said, 'How much do you owe my master?' He replied, 'One hundred measures of olive oil.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note. Sit down and quickly write one for fifty.' Then to another he said, 'And you, how much do you owe?' He replied, 'One hundred kors of wheat.' He said to him, 'Here is your promissory note; write one for eighty.' And the master commended that dishonest steward for acting prudently. "For the children of this world are more prudent in dealing with their own generation than are the children of light. I tell you, make friends for yourselves with dishonest wealth, so that when it fails, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; and the person who is dishonest in very small matters is also dishonest in great ones. If, therefore, you are not trustworthy with dishonest wealth, who will trust you with true wealth? If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours? No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

Ang pangalan ko
There are 32 letters in your name.
Those 32 letters total to 151
There are 17 vowels and 15 consonants in your name.
What your first name means:Persian Female From the name of the flower, jasmine.
Your number is: 7
The characteristics of #7 are: Analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious, meditating.
The expression or destiny for #7:
Thought, analysis, introspection, and seclusiveness are all characteristics of the expression number 7. The hallmark of the number 7 is a good mind, and especially good at searching out and finding the truth. You are so very capable of analyzing, judging and discriminating, that very little ever escapes your observation and deep understanding. You are the type of person that can really get involved in a search for wisdom or hidden truths, often becoming an authority on whatever it is your are focusing on. This can easily be of a technical or scientific nature, or it may be religious or occult, it matters very little, you pursue knowledge with the same sort of vigor. You can make a very fine teacher, or because of a natural inclination toward the spiritual, you may become deeply emerged in religious affairs or even psychic explorations. You tend to operate on a rather different wavelength, and many of your friends may not really know you very well. The positive aspects of the 7 expression are that you can be a true perfectionist in a very positive sense of the word. You are very logical, and usually employ a quite rational approach to most things you do. You can be so rational at times that you almost seem to lack emotion, and when you are faced with an emotional situation, you may have a bit of a problem coping with it. You have excellent capabilities to study and learn really deep and difficult subjects, and to search for hidden fundamentals. At full maturity you are likely to be a very peaceful and poised individual.
If there is an over supply of the number 7 in your makeup, the negative aspects of the number may be apparent. The chief negative of 7 relates to the limited degree of trust that you may have in people. A tendency to be highly introverted can make you a bit on the self-centered side, certainly very much self-contained . Because of this, you are not very adaptable, and you may tend to be overly critical and intolerant. You really like to work alone, at your own pace and in your own way. You neither show or understand emotions very well.
Your Soul Urge number is: 5
A Soul Urge number of 5 means:
The 5 soul urge or motivation would like to follow a life of freedom, excitement, adventure and unexpected happening. The idea of travel and freedom to roam intrigues you. You are very much the adventurer at heart. Not particularly concerned about your future or about getting ahead, you can seem superficial and unmotivated.
In a positive sense, the energies of the number 5 make you very adaptable and versatile. You have a natural resourcefulness and enthusiasm that may mark you as a progressive with a good mind and active imagination. You seem to have a natural inclination to be a pace-setter. You are attracted to the unusual and the fast paced.
You may be overly restless and impatient at times. You may dislike the routine work that you are engaged in, and tend to jump from activity to activity, without ever finishing anything. You may have difficulty with responsibility. You don't want to be tied down to a relationship, and it may be hard to commit to one person.
Your Inner Dream number is: 11
An Inner Dream number of 11 means:
You dream of casting the light of illumination; of being the true idealist. You secretly believe there is more to life than we can know or prove, and you would like to be provider of the 'word' from on high.

social exclusion, respect, et al
--
One of my frustrations in life is encountering people who do not show respect to others. We all have to learn to live with one another, we all share the same planet. Sounds pathetic, but it is true. Each individual has the right to be respected.
--
It is unfair to suffer because of the inefficiencies of others.
--
I got this from our class in social entrep:
Good Governance
- Ability of individual directors to work in partnership to accomplish an effective balance between strategic and operational responsibilities
- Occurs when a board is able to provide guidance to management in strategic issues and is effective in overseeing management carry out the agreed upon strategic plan
--
Change is always difficult. It will always be. But it does not mean that we should not be open for it.
--
It is actually possible to have a shift in interests. An advocacy that I have worked for for a long time has been lately dwindling. But as I said in my previous statement, I should be open to this change.
--
It is so hard to grow up. But I cannot escape it.
--
There are things that are actually real. Please avoid saying those things if you do not have a real experience with it. You might not know how the other might just feel. Be sensitive.
--
For now, and I think for the rest of my life, this shall be a guiding principle:
"We believe that there is a world of good that needs to be done. We commit ourselves to working as competent development professionals who will do good effectively. We believe that it is possible to do good and do well for ourselves."
I am a Development Studies Major.
I am proud of the people who have been part of my formation.
About five more months to go.
Here I come, world.

risk communication
I know change is hard to accept, but it would be easier if one is open. It would not help if it would be welcomed with a perspective of protest.
I know I should not expect too much, but for this issue, I have been disappointed by the different reactions (which are actually quite common). Of all the people who I thought would be rational about this, I did not expect that you would be one of them.
Throughout the years, substantial changes have been implemented. So far I have seen their progress. It is true that initially (as it is now) these were rejected, but in time, gradually, people adapt. In the end they realize that it is actually good.
This is development. Open your eyes and your mind (if necessary, even your heart). One of the problems of development is the acceptance of the intervention by its stakeholders. This is the reason why skills in conflict resolution and proper communication are important. It is always hard to fight status quo.
I would love to see where this would lead to. Basta, I'll be holding on to my principles.
Again, no biases.

Tinaya ako ni JenTan
In the 8 facts about you, you must share 8 things that your readers don’t know about you. Then at the end you tag 8 other bloggers to keep the fun going.
* Each blogger must post these rules first.
* Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
* Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
Astig e.
2. Paikot ako kumain ng: cookies, sandwich, burger, and the like. /:)
3. I play the flute. :) And I plan to take up classes again next sem.
4. I write my own quotes when I text people. (Boo, but I seldom do it now).
5. Mahilig ako sa bags at jackets. Yey.

7. Naka-group yung mga pangalan ng tao sa phone book ko sa celphone (e.g. A-Chris Lacdao = A is for ANI Core; ds3-Kiwee = ds3 is for DS na Junior, etc.).
8. May common denominator ang last crush at current crush ko. Hahaha. Hahaha. :x
