Do you know where the happiest place is for the Filipino child? It's the home of everyone's buddy bee, Jollibee!
Where else can kids have a meal made and named entirely after them like the Jollibee Kids Meal? It's the only kid-terrific meal where they not only get to eat their favorite Jollibee Yum Burger and Jolly Spaghetti, but they also get a toy to collect and treasure month after month.
Where else can kids play to their hearts content? It's only in the fun and colorful world of Jolly Kiddieland, where kids reign supreme. Here, children can safely run and roam freely, climb and dive in a sea of balls, and even get to meet new friends.
Where else can kids gather and be part of a cool club? Through the Jollibee Kids Club, youngsters are given activities that both educate and entertain. From painting contests to even pottery making, your child's creativity and social skills will be enhanced and developed.
Where else can kids have a special hour devoted especially to them? Everyday, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, the popular fast food chain celebrates Jollibee Kids Hour. It's a special time for young Jollibee patrons as they get treated to an afternoon of music, fun and laughter. Aside from kiddie activities, they'll get to meet the lovable Jollibee mascots in person and even receive special Jollibee treats.
And most important of all, apart from home and school, where else can kids learn to be good responsible young citizens? Jollibee is not only a happy haven for kids, it's also a learning ground for youngsters to be taught values education, which could spell a positive difference in society. With the Jollibee Kids campaign, three tracks were developed to give students a well-formed education beyond the usual ABCs that is based on values formation. These are the Jollibee Kids Learn, Jollibee Kids Read, and Jollibee Kids Share.
In Jollibee Kids Learn, the popular fast food chain teamed up with the Department of Education (Dep-Ed) and Mary Lindbert International to create a new curriculum for 1st and 2nd grade students with a strong emphasis on Values Education. The program is currently being integrated in 28 elementary schools in the National Capital Region (NCR).
To build a nation of readers is what the Jollibee Kids Read aims to achieve. In partnership with the Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation (SAS), Jollibee has developed a reading program that promotes literacy among public school students.
Charity and goodwill are the values behind Jollibee Kids Share. Through the annual MaAGA ang Pasko sa Jollibee, a toy and book drive, children are inspired to share and make other kids happy through gift-giving. Jollibee hopes that the young will imbibe this altruistic virtue, not only during Christmas time, but also for the rest of their daily lives.
So why is Jollibee the best place for the Filipino child? More than just a place to simply dine with family and friends, Jollibee is everyone's second home, where childhood lives, where happiness reigns supreme, and where values are nurtured.

my cubao adventure
mom, kuya, ate carla, guwapo matt, and melay went to tagaytay. dad is at work (at casa medica, all the way in zapote). and i'm here at home. home alone. sigh. i really wanted to go with them (mom, et al), but there was a meeting with the PR Committee regarding the org tours.
the meeting was at 11am this morning and it lasted for only an hour (or less). i didn't want to go home yet, since no one was there! so (kuya) victor, (ate) chette, (ate) mayan, (ate) jenica, and i ate at jabee. as usual i ordered the same meal. (ate tish, hulaan mo kung ano!)
after that, i went to gateway mall. actually, i was supposed to go to shang, but when i reached araneta center-cubao, i decided that i'll just go to gateway (there were several benefits kasi, like i didn't have to ride the jeep all the way to shang, and ride another jeep pauwi.. if i went to gateway, i'd just ride the train again.. BUT it cost more). my ultimate goal was to find a national bookstore, because i need to buy a hallmark card. (oo, kailangan hallmark! maarte ako.) but before i found the national, i had several stop-overs. plus, i didn't know where to find the national bookstore there!
so i searced for the store all over the vicinity (hindi naman all over cubao, sa vicinity lamang ng gateway, meaning sa loob ng gateway hanggang sa palibot nito). after a while (actually, medyo matagal rin), i finally saw the store! woohoo! i felt so happy when i saw their red sign, and i entered the store feeling that i found sanctuary. hahaha.
i only had a few bucks in my pocket, so i felt soooo frustrated when i saw all those books on sale. i saw this one title and i liked it so much, but it cost Php300!! waah. i only had P260. oh well. national bookstore-cubao is soooo nice! i like it!!! it's now one of my favorite places in the world! it's so big (ate rose said it's the biggest branch)! wheee.
i bought the card which i had to buy, by the way.
haaay.
kita mo na, gagawin ko ang lahat para sa iyo. now all i have to do is write the letter.
