Postponed Church Procession to Monday (Dec. 17) 5:30am

December 13, 2007

Peace.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo AGREED TO MEET the Sumilao Farmers in Malacañang Palace on Monday ( December 17, 2007 ) at 11:30AM .

In this light, we are hereby MOVING the CHURCH PROCESSION to escort the Sumilao Farmers on Monday ( December 17, 2007). This is also a reaction to the lame DAR resolution issued today (Dec 13, 2007) pre-judging the case naming San Miguel Corporation as the land owner and allowing them to proceed with their developments which then continue to damage the land. Details are as follows:

          Date:                               December 17, 2007 (MONDAY)

Place of Assembly:          DAR Office (Elliptical Road, Quezon City)

          Start of Procession:         5:30AM

From – To:                     DAR Office to Malacañang Palace

Please wear white and bring your rosary in solidarity with the Sumilao Farmers.

Let us all be one with our farmer-brothers and sisters from Sumilao in their fight for social justice.

"Moved by those who suffer….

                            Moved by those who struggle…

                                                       Moved by the Spirit…"
