assuming

Friday, February 08, 2008

I miss my JJ girls

Wednesday, February 06, 2008
The radio is currently playing "Way Back Into Love", and I suddenly missed my JJ girls.

Last year, Valentine's Day we went to Eastwood and watched Music and Lyrics (ay, kasama si Gino so di lang girls haha). Ayun. I don't know if we can go out this year (or if I could join them if ever, 'cause may thing na ako that day). Wah.

Ano bang pakialamanan. Blog ko 'to. Nag-iba lang na talaga ang tingin ko sa'yo after all those stuff. I mean, I'm proud of you, of what you've achieved, pero dear, you've got a long way to go. Some people actually think that you lack content. "Maingay" ka lang daw. Siyempre hurt ako na sinabi nila yun kasi kahit paano may pinagsamahan tayo, pero yun. I don't know how to tell you 'cause you're so far from me. I can't get beyond the wall you've created.

Ayun. I hope nothing bad happens.
Malayo pa lalakarin mo.

It's been nice knowing you.
Goodbye, see you whenever.

papel

Next time nalang ako magkukwento. :P Dami pa gagawin for school e.

Ayun. :P Thanks, Kuya James.

write

Saturday, February 02, 2008
I just want to write. Write. Write. Just blabbering. Unloading.

-

I am tired.

-

I'm torn between wanting to graduate already and not (yet).

-

It is extremely painful to not know what to do. I want to be there for you, but I don't know how. :(

-

I really hate the feeling of being left out. I looked so stupid. Why do you have to make me feel that way? Why? Why does it have to be this way everytime. Why you? Of all people. It's you who always does this to me. I was holding back my tears so no one would notice how bad I felt. I wish I could just be invisible.

-

How are you? I haven't heard from you for a while. I wish we could spend time together again. I'm scared for you, but I know you're strong.

-

I told myself I'd get over you, but still seeing your posts in Multiply makes my heart tinge even for just a bit. Not to be selfish, but right now I'm wishing that I didn't believe in that "forever" that you promised.

-

I wish more people would understand. I know it's abstract, but I wish more would care.

-

I don't want to expect.

Guinsaugon Drive

Last 15 January 2008, IMPUKAN launched a fund-raising drive for the Continuing Psycho-Social Care for the Guinsaugon Landslide Survivors project by SiLaBan (Sikolohiyang Lingkod Alay sa Bayan). The project is composed of two formation seminar-workshops aimed at both direct and indirect assistance for the survivors of the February 2006 landslide in Guinsaungon, St. Bernard, Southern Leyte. With a minimum target amount of P6, 040, IMPUKAN called for donations through continuous email blasts and word of mouth.

IMPUKAN is proud to announce that it was able to complete the drive on 28 January 2008. The amount collected from the drive will be used to purchase the materials needed for the seminar-workshops of the Guinsaugon landslide victims. IMPUKAN would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the donors who contributed (either in cash or kind):

Dr. Nina Rojas (Chemistry Department, Loyola Schools, Ateneo de Manila University)= P1,000
Mr. Steve Koon = P700
Faith Therese Raagas (4 BS Management, Ateneo de Manila University) = P500
thru Globe G-Cash = P200
Cherryl Si (2 AB Development Studies, Ateneo de Manila University) = P100
Kristine Wee (3 AB Development Studies, Ateneo de Manila University = P100
Pathways to Higher Education-AUF Chapter = 150 crayons
Pathways to Higher Education-San Carlos University Cebu = 150 glue sticks
Bagong Kulturang Pinoy = 3 reams bond paper, sheets of manila paper
Dr. Antonette Palma – Angeles & Amanda Angeles= 27 crayons, 33 sketchpads

The recently concluded Guinsaugon Drive is a statement that there are people out there who believe in the cause of working for an efficient disaster management system. Together with IMPok at Ugnayan para sa mga KAbabayang Nasalanta, let us continue to work towards being proactive against disasters: "Walang makapipigil sa dilubyo. Tumulong bago sumalanta ito."

hum

Friday, February 01, 2008
When I was in sophomore year I saw the magazine (err, magazine?) about the LS Awards in Fr. Bob's office. I read through it and felt really kilig after. I thought to myself that I wanted to have one in senior year. But then I was also humbled that that should not be my motivation for doing my service. Even without acknowledgment I should work hard. I should still strive to do more and to love more.

Ayun. I don't want to write details here, but a few people know where this entry is coming from. The reality still hasn't sunk in yet. I'm overwhelmed where this has brought me.

I am not expecting. Even if that "once upon a time dream" wouldn't be realized, the mere fact that I've experienced this is a huge thing already. There are people who actually believe.

Just continue doing good. Continue doing the most loving thing.

tanong

Ayun.
