hi wogee! i had a grand time yesterday! it really is fun to make people smile.. it warms my heart whenever i see people's faces light up with joy after reading our sign.. :) haay.. let's do it again soon!
yesterday, wogee and i spent our entire afternoon together.. since the sky poured down entire drums of water,we were both stranded.. we sat at the edsa walk, between the boards of Likas and Tuklas
(not sure).. there we started our sound trip.. people stared at us because we really were something to stare at.. hehe.. we sat there, earphones on our ears, our heads bopping with the beat, and an open umbrella to keep us from getting wet.. we were really a sight to see! we stayed there for a long time, but then it started to flood!
(yes, it flooded at the edsa walk! ankle-high!) so we started to evacuate!! after wading through the flood, we found a new shelter at one of the benches at kostka..
there we continued our sound trippin'.. after some time, we started to feel bored, so we dared each other to wave/smile at people (especially those who are walking alone) who passed us by.. but our plan didn't work! palpak ang kinalabasan! hahaha!
*hi to that girl, who was eating clover chips, we waved to! she asked us if we were from gabay.. hehe* so we revised our scheme.. we just made a cute sign that says
SMILE.. then we showed it to anyone passing us by.. some smiled, some
TRIED NOT TO smile, some looked at us in a mataray/masungit way, some just totally ignored us, and very few asked why we were doing it.. so
WHY? because we want to make people happy! it was a very bad day (some even said week, even SEM!), so we tried to make them feel better.. the rain was making everyone feel bad.. a lot were soaked, a lot were stranded, or just plain in a bad mood, so by our simple sign, we were making them happy!
if
YOU passed by kostka yesterday (friday, 23 july), at around 1630-1800 hours, most likely you've seen us.. :) i hope we made you smile! we would do it again soon, so watch out for us! :)
SMILE!! :)
